Bill Bozeman, president & CEO, PSA Security Network

Bill Bozeman is president and CEO of PSA Security Network, the world’s largest electronic security cooperative. PSA members are responsible for over $1.7 billion dollars of electronic security and life safety installations. Mr. Bozeman has 29 years of experience in the security systems integration business and has a successful track record in both corporate and entrepreneurial environments. Mr. Bozeman has served as president of Delta Audio-Visual Security, president of Dictograph Alarm Systems Inc, president of Delta Countermeasures, and vice president of strategic alliances for Pinkerton Systems Integration.

Mr. Bozeman is a graduate of the University of New Orleans and qualified as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) with the American Society for Industrial Security in 1997. In addition, Mr. Bozeman holds Level III certification in Homeland Security.

Throughout his career, Mr. Bozeman has directed sophisticated electronic security projects for corporate America, the U.S. government, and private institutions. In 2005, he was inducted into the Security Integration Hall of Fame, a lifetime achievement award that recognizes those individuals whose distinguished careers have helped shape the electronic security industry. In 2006, Mr. Bozeman was recognized as one of the security industry’s 25 Most Influential Security Executives.

Mr. Bozeman currently serves as chairman of Integrator Support LLC as well as chairman of Virtual Distribution Management. He also serves as a director for SureView Systems, the Security Industry Association (SIA), Security Systems News, and Home MD.

Mike Bradley, president, Safeguard Security & Communications

Mike Bradley is president of Safeguard Security and Communications in Scottsdale, Arizona. Safeguard has several divisions including residential and commercial integration and contracting, guard and patrol services and a privately operated UL Listed monitoring facility and was selected as SDM (Security Distributing and Marketing) Magazine’s 2002 Dealer of the Year. Mr. Bradley is a graduate of Arizona State University and has participated in sales and management in the low voltage contracting industry for 28 years. Mr. Bradley served on the NSCA (National System Contractors Association) board of directors for 11 years and was selected Educator of the Year in 2001 by the organization. Mr. Bradley is a CEDIA Certified Instructor. He also contributes regularly to Systems Contractor News (SCN) magazine on business and marketing topics.

Ray Coulombe, principal consultant, Gilwell Technology Services

Ray Coulombe is Principal Consultant for Gilwell Technology Services, providing product and market-related strategic assistance to early stage companies in the physical security and transportation markets. Formerly, Ray was COO and co-founder of SyPixx Networks, acquired in 2006 by Cisco, where he served as Senior Manager, Industry Consulting. Ray has over 30 years experience in the security, transportation, military and industrial markets. He is the co-founder of Core Tec Communications and International Fiber Systems, and has further experience with 3M, Emerson Electric Company, and the United States Air Force. Ray has written and presented numerous papers and articles covering both communications and video technologies and has conducted numerous training courses and seminars on communications. He holds a BSEE from Cornell University and a Masters degree in Management from MIT and is currently pursuing a Masters in Information Technology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Further, he has earned the Cisco CCENT and CCNA, ETA ESNT, and Fiber Optic Institute certifications. He is a leading proponent of training and certification programs in the area of network-based physical security.

Paul Cronin, CEO, 1nService

Paul Cronin, CEO of 1nService, is responsible for delivering one of the highest standards of customer service in the networking industry to a client list of Fortune 1000 companies throughout the United States as well as internationally. Mr. Cronin is a 25-year veteran in the data communications / networking industry. Mr. Cronin’s ability to select personnel who inevitably have a high degree of positive impact on the corporation's profitability and customer service satisfaction has given him advantages that the vanguard of a successful management team relies upon for their continued success. Mr. Cronin has studied business and technology and is a part-time professor at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI where he teaches IT Call Center Management. Mr. Cronin is instrumental in the creation and development of the alliances 1nService has today.

Tim Feury, founder, Altec Systems

Tim Feury, founder of Altec Systems, Inc., is a 30+ year physical security solutions professional. Tim gained his early security industry experience at ADT and Honeywell Systems prior to launching his own Security Solutions company over 15 years ago. Mr. Feury has served on the board of directors of PSA for 3 years, and is Chairman of PSA’s Technical Committee which produces a healthy mix of new technical solution offerings for its members each year. Feury is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association of metro Atlanta and the American Society of Industrial Security, as well as a regular participant in a multitude of other security industry associations. Tim’s common-sense look at the security industry today and his forward-thinking strategic view of where the industry is going continues to make him a sought after advisor and panel member.

Kourtney Govro, CEO, Sphere3 Consulting

In the Healthcare Industry Kourtney Govro is well known for her innovative perspective. Her understanding of the industry allowed her to achieve great success as an integrator selling life safety, security, and communications systems. Her strategies lead to the development of Sphere3 a company that takes a vendor agnostic stance on workflow design as it applies to alarm and alert automation. Using input from Caregivers and Technologists Sphere3 has developed software that documents current state, analyzes each interaction, and provides recommendations that leverage existing technologies and recommends new technology solutions. This consulting service coupled with a monthly web based score card is revolutionized systems design.

Her expertise in the industry and with automation is sought out by companies across the United States. She is a well followed blogger and speaker. This year she will be speaking at Duke University School of Medicine at the Center for Healthcare Design’s X3 Summit.

John Hunepohl, director of education, ASSA ABLOY

John Hunepohl, PSP, is director of education for ASSA ABLOY Door Security Solutions, overseeing the education, training, and certification programs for the company and the company’s customers.

Mr. Hunepohl began his security career in 1968 as a certified locksmith in Antioch California. He has also held various positions in wholesale distribution and manufacturing for companies supplying a wide range of security products including locks, access control, biometric, CCTV, alarm monitoring and accessories. He was national sales manager for Checkpoint Systems ACPG as well as project manager for the first Checkpoint-released, Windows-based, electronic access control software in 1995.

After ASSA ABLOY acquired Indala from Motorola in 2002, Mr. Hunepohl became national sales manager for the company until being tasked with starting the Integrated Security Specialists Group for ASSA ABLOY Americas in October, 2004.

John Hunepohl, PSP, has more than 40 years of experience in the security industry. He is a member of ASIS International, Security Industry Association (SIA) and Door Hardware Institute (DHI) – and serves on educational committees as a volunteer in order to improve the education and training of our industry. Mr. Hunepohl has been a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) since 1980. In 2003, he was one of the first to obtain his ASIS Certification for Physical Security Professional (PSP).

Mike Johnson, event director, PSA-TEC | ISC Education

Mike Johnson is the event director of the PSA-TEC event and the director of industry development at Reed Exhibitions, managing the conference programming for all Global Gaming Expo (G2E) and International Security Conference & Exposition (ISC) events. These education programs, serving the casino entertainment and security industries respectively, comprise one of the largest conference portfolios in the world. In cooperation with the shows' advisory boards and association partners, Johnson is responsible for the overall conference program development and speaker selection process for G2E, G2E Asia, ISC East, and ISC West, as well as online education and news content development for the G2E Online Education Center and ISC 365. Johnson is also a certified audiovisual technician and lighting designer, having worked previously at Scholastic, Inc. and the law offices of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP, and has participated as a guest lecturer promoting the development of the MICE (meetings, incentives, conventions, exhibitions) industry throughout the world.

Sandy Jones, principal consultant, Sandra Jones and Company (SJandCO)

Sandra Jones is a 30 year security industry veteran, insider, deal maker and author. She founded Sandra Jones and Company in 1990. Clients include integrators, dealers, investors, new entrants, and the industry’s leading vendors. Additional services include financial business assessments helping integrators and dealers find overlooked profits in their current business and to help them optimize their future valuations. Ms. Jones served as the Security Industry Association’s (SIA) president for over two terms and remains on the board of directors where she chairs the Nominating Committees and the New Product Showcase; a program she refined for the association. Ms. Jones is member of the Security Sales & Integration Hall of Fame and Security’s 2007 Top 25 People in the Security Industry, and is also a co-founder and the producer of the Securing New Ground™ conference which is considered the industries leading executive business forum.

Sharon Shaw, director of education, PSA Security Network

Sharon Shaw is director of education for PSA Security Network. Ms. Shaw is responsible for improving and increasing the PSA portfolio of industry-leading educational offerings at events, including PSA-TEC and ISC West and East. Ms. Shaw also coordinates PSA's training and education efforts with PSA vendors, owners, customers, other industry education professionals, and industry associations.

Since joining PSA in 2008 as executive assistant, Ms. Shaw has steadily been given additional responsibilities including committee coordinator, where she worked with industry leaders to implement and drive initiatives of PSA's three committees: the Leadership, Technical, and National Accounts Committees. She also served as the coordinator for vendor management where she was the main point of contact for the security manufacturer community and assisted the PSA vendor management team with operational policies and procedures

Arminda Valles-Hall,
director of education & training, Security Industry Association | ISC Education

Arminda Valles-Hall is the director of Education and Training for The Security Industry Association. With an extensive background in educational program development, volunteer management and strategic relationship building, Valles-Hall is poised to help SIA enhance and grow its education and training initiatives. Previously, she served as the education officer for a professional society dedicated to enhancing the skills and knowledge of research administrators around the world. Valles-Hall also directed the operations and curriculum development of an education center that helped Washington, D.C.-area nonprofit organizations increase their managerial and operational capacities and efficiencies. A native Californian, she currently makes Arlington, Virginia home with her husband, Len, and five-year-old son.

Dennis M. Stern, attorney | Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp

Dennis M. Stern is an experienced attorney in Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp’s Corporate Practice specializing in representing buyers and sellers in all aspects of the acquisition and sale of electronic and physical security service companies. He works closely with clients, from negotiating terms of the deal structure, preparing applicable documents, coordinating and supervising due diligence, managing the closing and effecting post-closing adjustments. A former general counsel for both public and private entities in the security sector for the past 35 years, Mr. Stern regularly advises companies regarding matters of corporate governance, SEC registration and compliance. He is also experienced in negotiating collective bargaining agreements, defending EEOC claims, negotiating real estate leases, and handling insurance claims litigation.
