Cancellation

We wanted to share that we are canceling TEC 2020. Additionally, we are canceling the USAV May 2020 Fourteeners sales incentive trip and the PSA Security August 2020 sales incentive trip. These were not easy decisions. We worked diligently to find other times in 2020 to host the events, but with so much uncertainty in our world right now, it is apparent the most prudent decision is to cancel altogether. We look forward to a time when we are all together again.

Our next scheduled event will be in Hilton Head in October. While we had originally planned on this being the PSA Leadership Convention and USAV Fall Integrators Meetings, we have found ourselves with an opportunity to rethink the event entirely to serve our integrators and partners with specialized content and networking that will allow them to reinvent their businesses in a post COVID-19 economy.

We will process refunds for all registered attendees and will be individually contacting all sponsors and exhibitors to discuss other opportunities.  We will also be reaching out to some speakers about potentially having their sessions at our October event. Below are answers to questions you may have if you are a speaker, sponsor, attendee or exhibitor of TEC 2020.

Will TEC be re-scheduled?
No, TEC 2020 will not be re-scheduled. TEC 2021 will take place May 3 – 6, 2021 in Denver, CO.

 

Do I need to cancel my TEC Registration?
No, PSA will process all cancellations and refunds in the registration system. If you used Training Bucks and have already received a refund from PSA, you will not receive another at this time.

 

How do I get my money back?
PSA will provide a refund of your TEC registration fee as well as any fee paid for a certification course. This refund will be credited to the card used to register your attendance.

PSA will not provide refunds for any other fees associated with this cancellation, such as flight cancellations, etc.  

Please be patient as we work through the processing of refunds.

 

What do I do with my current hotel reservation?
If you have already reserved your hotel room at the Sheraton, you will need to cancel your reservation directly with the hotel at (303) 893-3333. Individual reservations can be cancelled up to 24 hours prior to arrival without penalty.

If you did not reserve room at the Sheraton, you will need to reach out to your hotel directly to cancel your reservation. Hotel cancellation policies will apply.

 

I have already purchased my airfare, what do I do?
Please contact your airline directly to make any changes to your flight(s). PSA has gathered information from several airlines that may be of assistance when making your changes.

I submitted my training bucks form, what happens with the funds?
If you used Training Bucks and have already received a refund from PSA, you will not receive another at this time. All Training Bucks set to expire in June will now be extended to October 2020 so you have a chance to redeem them for Convention 2020.

No, if you have already registered your booth staff you do not need to cancel the registration. PSA will handle all cancellations.

No. PSA will start the submission process this summer for TEC 2021. Any session will need to be re-submitted and reviewed for next year’s event. However, we may reach out to you to include your session in our October event in Hilton Head, SC.
