Beginning in the early 1990’s Chris Donohue gained comprehensive security industry expertise – from installation and sales, to product management – following his service in the US Army. His first job was working for the US division of a European access control systems manufacturer where built his initial security knowledge base as an installer – dealing with every facet of applications in commercial, residential, industrial and institutional environments. From there he applied his experience into product management and sales, with a keen eye for the practical application of electrified hardware and access control systems to real world situations.
Besides having over 24 years of service in the security industry, Chris brings more than a decade of teaching experience, having developed in-house training for the design and installation of electronic hardware components, access controls, and enterprise security solutions. In addition, he has taught these same modules at industry events, national and regional distributor events and at branch locations of security installing dealers, and system integration houses.
