Before Leaving Home

ON-SITE

On-Site Code of Conduct for All Participants: This information will be included in the attendee registration packet and listed on PSATEC.com.

Health and Safety Procedures

We are all responsible for the health and safety of those attending PSA TEC 2021. The code of conduct is meant to protect all people participating in the live event. PSA appreciates your support.

We ask our attendees to abide by and engage in certain health and safety-beneficial conduct while attending PSA TEC in Denver.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Wearing a mask at all times in public places, except when actively eating
  • Engaging in appropriate physical distancing as set forward by the hotel and PSA
  • Not attending the event if you are ill or have been recently exposed to COVID-19
  • Seeking medical advice if you are feeling unwell or experiencing flu-like symptoms, as well as notifying PSA staff

The included lanyards in your registration packet can be worn depending on your social distancing comfort level. Please be responsible and respectful of lanyard colors.

Red – I prefer to maintain a good social distance.

Yellow – I am still cautious.

Green – I am okay with handshakes.

Session and meal rooms are set for social distancing. Please do not move your chair for the safety of everyone at the event. All rooms will be cleaned between sessions. We ask that you leave the room after the session or event is over so the hotel can clean the room effectively before the next session or event starts.

If at any point during the conference you feel sick, please return to your hotel room. If you are not a guest of the hotel, please notify marketing@psasecurity.com. You will be asked to proceed to a room at the Sheraton for screening by the hotel.

By registering for TEC, you acknowledged that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. By attending PSA TEC, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold The PSA Network; or any of its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury. Failure to comply with the health and safety procedures may lead to expulsion from the event.

POST-EVENT

If you test positive for COVID-19 up to 14 days after returning home, please contact PSA staff to advise them.

Staff Procedure:

If people are ill before travel they are advised NOT to attend. PSA will fully refund their registration fees if they cancel their registration two weeks before the event due to an illness.  A group staff text chain will be started and include all staff working the event so all can be informed of any potential issues. PSA will hold an internal training for all attending the live event to review the procedures.

CODE OF CONDUCT

We ask all staff attending the live event to adhere to the same codes of conduct we have set forth for our attendees. If you are sick, please stay home and do not attend the live event. If you have event responsibilities, please check with your manager so your responsibilities may be reassigned.

COMPLIANCE

  • Code of conduct provided to all attendees in their badge packets
  • Signage & floor decals to promote social distancing
  • Safety protocols signage next to sanitizer stations
