Randi’s family lives by three rules: love, respect, and protect. It is that last characteristic that has driven the last decade and a half of her life. As a side hobby and interest, Randi has taught personal safety and firearms courses since 2009. However, in 2016, Randi left her career as an Accountant to chase a dream to better protect her community. She returned to Sam Houston State University to earn a Master’s in Homeland Security, including two Master’s Certificates in Critical Infrastructure Protection and Emergency Management. It was in this process she was introduced to Preferred Technologies, LLC. She interned in the summer of 2018 and was hired onto the Sales team 4 months later at the completion of her degree.
After her first year as a Sales & Design Professional, she moved into the role of Strategic Planning Analyst which better suited her talents of identifying patters, analyzing risk, and building well-balanced and structured plans to achieve team goals. Her internal goals are to streamline the sales process to enable the team to spend more time with customers, assist in identifying new verticals opportunities, and educate others on best practices in the security world. Randi’s external goals are to continue building relationships with community partners to improve the response to safety and security issues while encouraging the individuals within each system.
