Janet Dabice began her career in the security industry by leading marketing departments for brands such as: Brady ID, TemTec, StopWare, Identicard, and others. As Marketing Director for Samsung Techwin, she helped brand escalation to a top tier market player. Her tenure included brand transformation to Hanwha Techwin, heralded as one of the smoothest rebranding efforts in the industry’s history. Elevated to Head of Marketing at Dahua Technology, later Director of Business Development, and then recruited to lead marketing at ISS, an AI software company, in 2020 Janet founded Defined Marketing, helping security industry companies expand their marketing efforts.
Janet is a board member of Mission 500, a non-profit in the security industry assisting U.S. children in poverty. On the board of directors of the Security Industry Association (SIA), she chairs SIA’s membership and marketing committee, is a founding steering committee member for SIA’s Women in Security Forum, and a TIME Mentor.
